Scholarships

Hellenic American University admits students on the basis of academic potential and qualifications and not on their ability to pay. The University offers aid to students that show a financial need and scholarships to students with exceptional academic promise. In addition, limited teaching and research assistantships or work study are available to qualified students.

Our tuition guarantee: Hellenic American University promises that the tuition rate that applies when you’re first admitted to Hellenic American University will remain the same until you graduate. The Tuition Guarantee Program means that you will know in advance how much your education will cost.

Need-based Scholarships

Need-based scholarships are awarded to students with demonstrated financial need and who maintain good academic standing. Although need-based scholarships may cover a significant part of tuition fees in the case of exceptionally needy students, the University cannot guarantee that all need will be covered in all cases. The amount of need-based awards is decided on a case-by-case basis. To maintain and renew their awards undergraduate recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.00 while graduate students a minimum GPA of 3.25.

Merit-based Scholarships

Merit scholarships are awarded to applicants with exceptional academic achievement, leadership potential or involvement in community service, depending on the particular type of scholarship. Recipients of these scholarships need to maintain a higher GPA than need-based recipients.

Corporate Scholarships

The University Corporate Scholarship program provides sponsoring organizations with merit-based partial or full tuition subsidies for selected employees. Contact the Financial Services Office to see if your company participates in the corporate scholarship program and if not, how it can join.

Early Admission Scholarships

Early-admission scholarships are awarded to applicants who meet the University’s admission requirements and make an early decision to attend. Contact the Admissions Office for details.
